Sometime long ago, the Lindbergh Lake Campground extended to the Lindbergh Lake Lodge property.  It appears that is what is being planned again as of summer 2025.   

The reason I was told they shut it down is that the vegetation was being destroyed and the embankments were caving in.    I don't think the Forest Service is aware of the problems they had then and will most likely have again.
